Ratings below come straight out of the Elo model run over the live dataset. The board is currently showing the 2025 season. If the current season hasn't tipped off yet, it falls back to the most recent completed season's ratings, so the board is never empty during the offseason.
Hit refresh to pull the latest games from Basketball-Reference, clean them, and replay the full game history into fresh ratings. The first refresh in a new session can take a few seconds because it re-scrapes the current season; subsequent ones are faster if nothing has changed.
The rating bar next to each team is scaled across the board's own min-to-max range, not against the 1500 prior. That makes the spread between the top and bottom of the league easy to read at a glance, but two teams with similar bar widths can still be a hundred rating points apart.
